Price corrections: Xero starts at £18 (Ignite); Intercom Essential is $29
What changed
We corrected two directory prices after checking the official pages. Xero's cheapest UK plan is Ignite at £18 a month ex VAT (20 invoices and 10 bills a month, with VAT returns; that is the standard price after any introductory offer), not Grow at £39. Intercom Essential is $29 per seat a month billed yearly ($39 monthly), not the $19 we had shown.
Why it matters for a UK small business
If you only send a handful of invoices a month, Xero may cost less than half what we previously listed. If you were budgeting for Intercom, allow for the higher Essential price.
What to do
If you send up to 20 invoices a month, compare Xero Ignite at £18 a month ex VAT before paying £39 for Grow. If you're choosing a support chat tool, budget for Intercom Essential at $29 per seat a month billed yearly, or $39 monthly.
